Conferences Overview

The 2021 European Microwave Week (EuMW 2021) continues the annual series of highly successful microwave events that started back in 1998. EuMW 2021 comprises three co-located conferences:

The European Microwave Conference (EuMC) 15th – 17th February 2022
2021 marks 120 years since the first radio transmission was sent across the Atlantic Ocean by Guglielmo Marconi. This demonstration disproved sceptics that thought the curvature of the Earth would limit ransmission to less than 200 miles and has paved the way for mobile communications that we enjoy today. The 2021 European Microwave Conference is Europe’s largest conference dedicated to microwave, millimetre-wave and terahertz devices, systems and technologies and will give you opportunities to share and discuss your recent findings with peers and experts across this region of the spectrum. The European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) 14th – 15th February 2022
The 16th European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) will be held in London, UK, as part of the European Microwave Week 2021. Initiated by the GAAS® Association in 1990 and renamed in 2006, the conference once again visits London - one of Europe’s hot hubs for the Tech Industry and a financial investment centre – a truly dynamic city that never goes to sleep! The EuMIC conference is jointly organized by the GAAS® Association and EuMA, and is the premier European technical conference for RF and microwave electronics, and opto-electronics. It has established itself as a key contributor to the success of the overall European Microwave Week and remains the largest scientific event in Europe related to microwave integrated circuits.

The European Radar Conference (EuRAD) 16th – 18th February 2022
The 18th European Radar Conference will be held from the 16th to 18th October 2021 in London, UK, in the framework of the European Microwave Week 2021. This Radar Conference is the major European event for the present status and the future trends in the field of radar research, technology, system design and applications. The EuRAD conference will bring together a global network of researchers, practitioners and institutes working on topics related to the following four areas of focus: Radar Sub-systems and Phenomenology, Radar Signal and Data Processing, Radar Architecture and Systems and Radar Applications.
